This, I can appreciate.

You can get the device that has the most “features”, but this rarely provides the best experience. To evolve form and function together is the most desirable, this is why I admire Apple so much.

Writing As a Competitive Advantage

parislemon:

brycedotvc on the Steve Jobs negotiation emails:

Writing can be intimidating, even challenging. But I believe it will be an increasingly important medium for getting work done and convincing others of our ideas. Steve was a master of the medium and I’m glad we’ve gotten a small peek into how he used it.

Writing can be so powerful, if for no other reason than to cristalize and refine your own thinking. Once your thoughts are clear to you, actions become more purposeful; A true purpose driven life.

Consider the possibilities.

Edit 5/27/13: The duches over at The David Foster Wallace Literacy Trust sent a takedown notice to the Glossary. You would think such a trust would want works like this to be propagated,  does this not itself represent what Wallace stood for? Obviously the spread of the spirt of his ideas is not what they are interested in. I can only assume what their true alternative motive must be.
